Help us 10x increase women breaking into tech, business and VC
Last year, only 2.2% of venture capital went to companies with female founders.
Women make up only 11 percent of investment partners in the U.S.
Women make up 47 percent of all employed adults in the U.S., but as of 2015, they hold only 25 percent of computing roles, according to NCWIT.
To rewrite history and create a world for the next generation where women starting companies, becoming partners and CEO's is a norm and not new news.
We have created a virtual community of Gen Z and Millenial Costarters who are women trying to break into Tech, Business and Venture Capital. We create content through newsletters, podcasts, blogs to spread resources to women on how to break into Tech, Business and Venture Capital. We also hold virtual events, workshops, hang-outs and mentor sessions. Here are some of the content we provide:
Summer long side project incubator with a demo day.
Ideally, tech summers would be filled with events sponsored by companies like intern happy hours, and a lot of exciting team offsites, however, this year is different so we at Costart wanted to help get through this quarantine summer by making it more exciting. We are excited to launch SUMMER WITH COSTART to help college and early-career work on side projects all throughout summer. There will be groups working throughout the summer with other passionate Costarters in a virtual community. There will also be virtual events, hangouts, and work sessions for you to network with each other and tech industry leaders. Fill this out if you’re interested!
